The Public Works Department is responsible for the preventive and regular maintenance of municipal substructures such as roads, parks and green spaces, ditches, pipes, etc.

Main activities of this service are as follows :

- Gravel roads and paving maintenance
- Pipes and ditches maintenance
- Parks and green spaces maintenance
- Plantation and maintenance of trees and flowers
- Snow removal on municipal parkings and roads
- Abrasive material spreading on roads
- Follow-up of master plans
- Grant of mandates for professional services
- Coordination of activities with the Ministère des Transports du Québec
- Coordination of road signs and public display
